AP: More Vote in Iran and Somalia than in U.S.

In other societies that we usually deride, like Iran and Venezuela, voter turnout is as high as 70% or 80%. Not in the United States of America… Why don’t we care?

Intel Unleashes Core 2 Quad - The Multicore Era Begins
While benchmarks show that it doesn’t really perform any better than current dual-core extreme chips, the apps aren’t heavily threaded. Nevertheless, the a little bit of the future arrived today.
