If there’s one long, exhaustive list of facts in any one place that you can reference quickly on the Internet, this is it.  Take a look, guaranteed there are at least a few that you have never seen before. Here are three examples:

(1.)   In 1917 when the British invaded at the end of WWI, British Foreign Minister Arthur Balfour said, “I do not care under what system we keep this oil, but I am quite clear it is all-important for us that this oil should be available.”
Or this one:

(2.)  Saddam Hussein began his career as … a thug… on the payroll of the CIA.
Or this one too:

(3.)  One of Bush’s most infamous public statements:  “I’m driven with a mission from God. …God would tell me, ‘George, go and end the tyranny in Iraq…’ And I did.”

These facts are all referenced thoroughly on multiple places.  We must learn to pay closer attention to what our leaders say… and hold them accountable.  Read more:

Moreover, MSNBC.com reports that Chicago is the odds-on favorite to win. The other finalists are places like Rome, Prague and Tokyo.

While those are all good places, Europe and Asia have been chosen a lot, and the U.S. is sort of next up in the rotation. The U.S. last hosted the Summer Olympics in Atlanta in 1996 and in L.A. in 1984.  The U.S. hosted the Winter Olympics in 2002.

But, it will have been 20 years for a Summer games between 1996 and 2016.
